Recently, significant changes have been made to Canada's Startup Visa program that affect our ability to support international founders. As one of the designated entities for this program, Spring now offers its new Global Impact Startup Visa Program, designed specifically for immigrant entrepreneurs who are making a positive impact socially or environmentally. This innovative 18-month virtual program includes:
4-week Startup Essentials: A crash course in building and scaling your startup.
12-week Venture Building Essentials: Deep dives into essential skills like investment readiness, intellectual property, pitching strategies, branding techniques, and more.
Monthly Webinars with Industry Experts: Access to insights from leading figures across various fields.
Workshops on Investment Readiness: Tlored sessions to help you understand the Canadian market better.
Business Partner Services: Assistance in incorporating your business in Canada, getting professional bookkeeping services, creating a website, and conducting market research.
1:1 Coaching Mentorship: Personalized guidance from experienced advisors and mentors.
In-person Networking Events: Opportunities to connect with fellow entrepreneurs and industry leaders.
Soft Landing Support: Resources and advice for settling in Canada smoothly.
Spaces are currently full for the 2024 cohort, but we're accepting rolling applications for interested founders who want to join our wtlist. Due to new restrictions, the selection process is highly competitive and only candidates qualified will be contacted for further evaluation. Program fees will be discussed with successful applicants.

As you've probably heard, the Canadian federal government has updated its Start-up Visa program guidelines, which impacts how Spring supports international founders.
